Return policies are another thing to keep in mind, such as the company's ability to easily and promptly process a return. It is really important for you to understand the return policy before you start handling/installing parts. Most places are not going to be interested in receiving a part back that is a grimy mess. So, make sure you compare the new part to the old one before you dive in. Packing a part for return is a real pain if you don't save the original packaging. This is an easy way for you to be able to return a part without needing to find a box and packing material. This is also a good way to make sure that the return label they send you will be correct for the box you're shipping back.
