Do you want the best custom motorcycle air cleaners?
Here's how to find the best ones online.

Ready to buy your custom motorcycle air cleaners? This site offers a good selection AND prices.

If you want to learn more before buying, read on!

One of the most inexpensive ways to customize your bike is with custom motorcycle air cleaners. Whatever your look of choice is-there is a custom air cleaner for you.

In the performance category you have quite a few options to choose from, but one of the biggest is K&N. These folks do many different designs including different air boxes that help you get a cold air charge for more power.

There are an endless supply of designs available, including a growing number of shops that will make custom one off designs. Although these are usually pricier than off the shelf units, they are unique, custom, and your own design.

There are two types of air cleaner elements, disposable & re-usable.

The disposable elements are similar to those found in your car. Usually, they are made of a paper-type material that performs quite well for most applications.

Depending on your use, these filters will give good service for thousands of miles. Then, once they're dirty, you simply throw them out and replace them.

Their lower cost makes this quite painless-and there is no mess with cleaning and oiling.

The other type of filter is re-usable. This filter gives longer service with more maintenance and cost. The difference with this filter is that when it becomes dirty you clean, oil, and re-use it.

Manufacturers of these filters sell the correct cleaners and oils to properly clean and condition their filters. The initial cost of these filters are higher, but the claimed service life is a million miles (how they know this, I don't know!).

Both are fine choices, but consider your riding locale. If you ride off-road you will probably need to change a paper filter often. It would probably be worth buying a good quality re-usable and clean it regularly.
