ATV Games: Where to find the best ones.

ATV games are getting better and better with every new release. We've recently done some research on some of the current offerings.

The most popular ATV video game is the latest iteration of "MX vs. ATV-Reflex," which was developed by Rainbow Studios. This game, which is available for a wide variety of current gaming platforms, is filled with great graphics and fantastic features.

One of the most realistic aspects of this game are the varied surfaces that you can drive on. The various courses and terrain offer such realistic rutting and groves that you will feel like you are actually putting them in the dirt.

Advances in technology has allowed the games' creators to create not only realistic-looking surfaces, but also translate these different surface types into the handling of your machine. In some scenarios, you will go from desert conditions to snowy conditions and you will definitely notice a difference in the responses.

The controls also have been stepped up. The controller's right stick is used to move the rider's weight around, while the left controller is used to steer. These updated controls allow you to better manipulate how you can handle the course, and once you become comfortable with them, they will definitely help you avoid many wipe-outs.

The downsides of the game are relatively few. The biggest shortcoming is the lack of a rewind feature that allows you to back-up the action to renegotiate a section and avoid the crash you had the first time through. The only other complaint is the abrupt changes in terrain. Although cool to look at, they are difficult to negotiate, and frequently cause crashes.

The game overall is very good. It sells new for around $60. You will definitely get many hours of enjoyment out of this one.
